Here is a partial list of links to sites that I enjoy. They were useful
to me during my genealogical search and during the creation of this website. If you are in search of your genealogy
or have an interest in organizing a family reunion, you will find these links very useful.
Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture
The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is a research unit of The New York Public Library. A national
research library, it is devoted to collecting, preserving and providing access to resources documenting the experiences of
peoples of African descent throughout the world, with emphasis on blacks in the Western Hemisphere. This is a fascinating
place to visit if you are ever in the New York area. The decor is exquisite!!
National Archives and Records Administration
The National Archives for Records Administration (NARA) ensures for the citizen and public servant, for the President
and for the Congress and the courts, ready access to essential evidence. Services available to the public include genealogical
research, naturalization records, microfilm research, and archives. This is a fasinating place to visit.
Be sure to take lots of coins for the copy machine.

The African American Genealogy Group (AAGG) was founded in 1989. Its mission is to promote genealogical research
in the African American Community. The organization offers workshops, seminars, and group trips to the archives of states
