| Robert Hearst |
Research did not reveal information about Uncle Robert's offspring. However, it is believed that the siblings (three
of eight who are still living) responsible for organizing the Hearst Family Reunion for the last five years, are from his
branch of the tree. The three are Bessie Hearst Calhoun, Genelle Hearst Sligh-Henderson, and Rev. John Calvin Hearst.

Uncle Joe married Mattie. They had one child, Gracie Mae Hearst Darden (1921 to 2000).

| Benjamin Heard (Hearst), 1901-1975 |
Uncle Ben married the late Jessie Myers. They had one child named Beatrice. Beatrice shared with me
recently, that Uncle Ben changed his surname from Hearst to Heard because her mother did not want to be confused with
the funeral hearse.
